Welcome to Off-Leash, a series spotlighting Biche’s community of tastemaking dogs and humans.
Photographer and filmmaker Chloé Horseman began making a name for herself in her early twenties, living in New York City by way of small-town Georgia and shooting for clients like Bottega Veneta and Mansur Gavriel. That's also when she got her dog, Henri.
Chloé was only 21 when she met Henri, a Goldendoodle. "My best friend convinced me that I had to have him, and I am so glad she did,” she says. "I spent every dollar I had on him — worth every penny.”
Now settled in Los Angeles, Chloé is still collaborating with major fashion brands, as well as clients across beauty, food, and print media. She has two photography books under her belt: Outtakes and In Between. And in 2025, she got married (her own photos of the affair can be found in British Vogue).
Henri, now eight years old, has been by her side through it all — and with an unwavering joie de vivre. "Henri is a lover of all things, especially anything edible,” Chloé says. "We always say Henri wakes up like it's the first day of his life, every day.”
Ahead, we chat with Chloé about her Gemini tendencies and Henri’s favorite snacks (some of which aren’t meant to be eaten).
