The day before writer Hunter Harris got her dog, she was in Stockholm, Sweden on assignment. And not just any assignment — Hunter was set to attend and review the first night of Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour.

“I stayed up all night to write the review for New York magazine,” she says. Hours later, she flew to Kansas City to pick up Remy, a Schanuzer-Poodle mix. "She had the cutest little curl right in between her eyes. I just knew she was my girl."

Now two years old, Remy is just as eclectic as her mom, whose pop culture newsletter, "Hung Up," boasts over 75,000 subscribers. "Her favorite movie is Collateral; her least favorite movie is The Age of Innocence,” Hunter says. "She’s such a flirt, too! She has inherited my boy-craziness."
